What a good day to be alive!

I hope you're well. I write this almost two weeks after my return to the States, and things are rolling. I'm back in full production with my novel, Music for Parasites, due from Random House in June 2019!

Kidding about the Random House thing. But that would be cool. I will keep you posted on that front--and in the meantime, it never hurts to emit positive vibes. The universe hears.

Right now, I'm revising a lot, with invaluable input from my readers. In Southeast Asia, I did some work on my next novel, tentatively titled Motel Rituals. More details on this forthcoming. With Music for Parasites, I'm cutting and rearranging. Sometimes big changes have to happen. Heard this quote from a panelist at this year's AWP conference: "No novel was ever fixed by tinkering with it."

I'm also without a phone. If you've been trying to text or call, that's the primary reason I've seemed like a negligent butt.

Will post updates!

Infinite Regards,

Jay
